Where it all began back in 1858 - the
link to Wales and beyond. S&D rails used to run down this jetty to allow
transfer from ship to train. The Burnham Life Boat also shared the same

Site of Burnham on Sea station, tarmac
is now where rails used to be . The yellow building in the distance
used to house the life boat, it features in many old photographs. In
