BASON BRIDGE

bason_bridge_01.jpg (56112 bytes) The former Wilts United Dairy viewed from the bridge over the rhyne next to the former level crossing. This section of the line remained in use until the 2nd of October 1972 to serve the dairy here. A substantial amount of milk traffic was generated here. The dairy finally closed in 1987.
